Qualifications

• 6+ years of technical program management experience, including 3+ years in hardware or hardtech companies
• Experience managing large teams of 20+ contributors across engineering and scientific domains
• Familiarity with parallel workstream coordination in project-based organizations
• Deep understanding of the hardware product development lifecycle and translating scientific research into actionable requirements
• Proven supply chain management skills covering component sourcing and manufacturing operations
• Ability to collaborate autonomously with technical contributors across various scientific fields
• Experience in budget management and resource allocation across multiple projects

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate technical programs involving hardware development and scientific validation
• Manage schedules, budgets, and resources for evolving, multi-faceted projects
• Track and assess critical dependencies across R&D, manufacturing, and hardware validation
• Translate research initiatives into technical requirements by collaborating with scientists
• Partner with hardware teams on component selection and readiness for manufacturing
• Ensure compliance with privacy and security standards in all project activities
• Maintain vendor relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, and testing facilities
• Implement risk assessments and mitigation strategies for technical and supply chain challenges
• Facilitate integration decisions and technical reviews among autonomous contributors
• Communicate program status, risks, and strategic recommendations to executive leadership
