Technical Program Manager IIitD is seeking a
Technical Program Manager II to lead end-to-end display algorithm development, validation, and execution for next-generation AR/Smart Glasses products. This role is responsible for driving complex cross-functional programs spanning algorithm development, software implementation, hardware testing, and prototype validation to ensure display compensation algorithms meet image quality requirements. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in hardware/software co-development, display technologies, and technical program management, along with a proven track record of delivering complex, multi-workstream engineering programs on aggressive timelines.

Responsibilities- Lead end-to-end validation planning and execution across algorithm development, hardware testing, prototype software validation, production software readiness, and human factors evaluations.
- Drive cross-functional alignment across display hardware, software engineering, systems architecture, testing, and product management teams to ensure successful program execution.
- Coordinate hardware allocation, prototype availability, and testing resources to remove blockers and maintain validation schedules.
- Identify program risks, maintain a comprehensive risk register, and proactively drive mitigation plans with clear ownership and resolution paths.
- Communicate program health, milestone progress, validation outcomes, risks, and executive-level updates to engineering leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Develop and manage integrated program schedules while tracking dependencies across hardware, firmware, software, and validation workstreams.
- Partner with engineering teams to ensure display compensation algorithms achieve image quality goals and support successful product development milestones.

- Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material).
- Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.

Required Qualifications and Skills- 3+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager supporting hardware and software co-development programs.
- 3+ years of experience in display technology, image processing, algorithm validation, or electro-optical systems engineering.
- Experience leading complex cross-functional programs across hardware, firmware, and software development teams.
- Experience managing hardware-dependent programs, including prototype builds, device allocation, and test infrastructure coordination.
- Strong program planning, dependency management, and risk mitigation experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience using data to drive technical decisions.
- Experience communicating technical program status, risks, and milestones to engineering leadership and executive stakeholders.
- Ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with evolving requirements and aggressive delivery timelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills- Experience supporting other large-scale technology companies.
- Experience with display compensation algorithms and image quality pipelines.
- Familiarity with display technology testing methodologies.
- Experience managing 0-to-1 consumer device programs from prototype validation through mass production.
- Knowledge of AR, VR, or XR display systems, including near-eye display architectures and image quality metrics.
Education- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience required.
