Full Job Description
NVIDIA is looking for an expert Technical Program Manager to scale strategic programs across the global higher education and research ecosystem. In this role, you will lead university engagement, curriculum adoption, and grant operations that help researchers, faculty, and students build with NVIDIA advanced computing platforms, publicly available models, and CUDA-X libraries. Work across NVIDIA and with leading academic institutions around the world to turn high-impact collaborations into repeatable, measurable programs

What you'll be doing:
  • Define strategy, governance, operational performance indicators, success metrics, and execution models.
  • Scale NVIDIA Tech Days for universities as a repeatable global program, including institution prioritization, content development, execution standards, measurement, and continuous improvement.
  • Support curriculum integration collaborations with leading universities and faculty advocates to incorporate NVIDIA open models, learning content, and guest speakers into undergraduate and graduate coursework, ensuring students gain early access and exposure to open-source models and computing platform technologies.
  • Coordinate strategic academic investments, including supporting operations for discrete university lab sponsorships and NVIDIA's education rebate program.
  • Collaborate with and be supported by NVIDIA field staff-including Developer Relations (DevRel), Account Managers, and Solution Architects-to ensure flawless, consistent, and excellent program execution globally. Collaborate internally with NVIDIA Developer Programs, Deep Learning Institute, and Product teams to bring the best of NVIDIA to lighthouse universities.
  • Synthesize insights from faculty, researchers, and students to help build future NVIDIA platforms, libraries, and educational content.
  • Track and communicate outcomes, including program reach, library adoption, open-source contributions, paper citations, and infrastructure utilization. Identify ecosystem gaps, test new program concepts, and scale successful pilots across regions and research domains.

What we need to see:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, program management, education, public policy, computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience
  • Extensive experience in product or program management, strategic operations, partnerships, or grant administration within technology, higher education, research, or a comparable environment.
  • Demonstrated success leading sophisticated, cross-functional programs spanning multiple teams, timelines, dependencies, and global regions. Proven track record to develop, operationalize, and scale new processes and initiatives across organizations and geographies.
  • Experience working with universities, academic faculty and researchers, student education programs, or sponsored research, with a practical understanding of how institutions evaluate and adopt technology.
  • Strong operational excellence, including program governance, strategic execution, performance metrics, and executive-level reporting.
  • Success also requires collaborating across technical and non-technical teams, influencing partners without direct authority, and translating sophisticated concepts into clear, actionable plans.
  • Outstanding communication skills, including executive-facing communications, are critical. At NVIDIA, successful candidates are collaborative, proactive, and able to adapt quickly while managing competing priorities.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:
  • Familiarity with AI and machine learning, accelerated computing, open models, and NVIDIA technologies such as CUDA-X libraries will give us an edge. Likewise, experience developing curriculum integrations, teaching kits, or reusable technical enablement for faculty and students is a major plus! Moreover, the following will move you to front of the pack.
  • Post-graduate qualification in business, education, computer science, engineering, or a comparable area, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience using data, automation, or AI tools to improve program execution, reporting, and cross-NVIDIA communication.
  • Experience working across multiple regions and university systems.
