Minimum qualifications:

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. As part of the Compliance, Safety, and Risk Management (CSRM) Team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Program for our Data Centers and Technical Infrastructure assets. This role will be responsible for the strategic development, successful implementation and ongoing execution of the Global Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Contractor Management Program, ensuring conformance with Google Cloud's EHS expectations and ensuring compliance with relevant EHS regulations, minimizing risk, and fostering a culture of safety excellence.

The Data Center team designs and operates some of the most sophisticated electrical and HVAC systems in the world. We are an upbeat, creative, team-oriented group of engineers committed to building and operating powerful data centers.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Responsibilities
  • Lead AI/ML integration (predictive modeling, NLP) and implement technologies like IoT or wearables to transition EHS to proactive hazard mitigation.
  • Design a centralized data warehouse and pipelines to ingest, transform, and consolidate global safety and environmental compliance data into actionable insights.
  • Build analytical features, interactive dashboards, and automated scorecards. Ensure seamless integration between EHS data systems and operations platforms for automated incident-tracking.
  • Manage complex safety analytics projects, partnering closely with operations stakeholders to align on EHS vision and adapt to shifting regulatory needs.
  • Plan and prioritize data initiatives across safety and engineering teams, guiding the strategic growth and maturity of internal safety applications.
