Position Description: CGI is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead a critical work stream within a large scale technology initiative in the financial services sector. Given the AWS heavy technical environment, familiarity with cloud based infrastructure and delivery models is highly valuable for coordinating effectively with engineering teams.
This position is required in one of the following locations: Lafayette, LA, Knoxville, TN, Birmingham, AL
Your future duties and responsibilities: In this role, you'll own the planning, coordination, and delivery of key project milestones, working closely with the Project Executive to ensure your stream aligns with broader program goals. You'll manage client expectations, drive quality and timeliness across deliverables, and serve as a key point of contact for progress updates and issue resolution. This role requires close collaboration with Consultants and Senior Consultants to keep both interim and final deliverables on track.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: . 5+ years of progressive IT and direct project/program management experience
. Proven track record planning and tracking complex projects using tools like Microsoft Project
. Sharp attention to detail - nothing falls through the cracks on your watch
. Solid grasp of project and program lifecycle costs and budgeting
. Strong communicator who can negotiate effectively and build lasting client relationships
. Comfortable untangling complex technical issues alongside engineering teams
. Experience leading and guiding teams of technical professionals
. Confident presenting to and working alongside senior leadership
. Background working in AWS or other major cloud environments a plus
. Financial services industry experience a plus
Educational Requirement:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $113,400.00 $143,500.00.
