AWS Data Center Communities (DCC) operates one of the world's largest and most complex infrastructure organizations, delivering the backbone of AWS's global cloud. We are looking for a Senior Manager to lead our workforce planning programs and drive the systems, models, and operational frameworks that ensure we have the right people, in the right place, at the right time.
This is a high-impact, high-ambiguity role for a builder who has operated at the intersection of labor planning, technology, and operations. You'll define and deliver the workforce planning strategy for our DC infrastructure organization - transforming how we forecast demand, model staffing scenarios, and optimize labor allocation across a rapidly scaling global footprint.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of people management experience
- 7+ years of technical program management experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- Experience in people management
- Experience in technical program management
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of work in internet-related program or technical product management in a software applications environment experience
- Knowledge of cloud computing services or deployment architecture
- Experience working in an internet-related program or technical product management in a software applications environment
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
- Experience with agile or other program management methodologies
- Master's degree or equivalent
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
