The impact you'll makeAs an Engineering Technical Program Manager (Eng TPM) at Lam, you are not just overseeing projects - you're orchestrating breakthroughs in support of instilling project management within the engineering community. You'll lead cross-functional teams through successful project execution blending your technical excellence with strategic planning to deliver new or upgraded products. Your role is vital, owning technical projects from initiation through delivery using your expertise in planning, directing, and monitoring schedules and budget.
In this role, you will directly contribute to improving project efficiencies and consistency in meeting goals and timelines.
What you'll doOver-see the optimization or creation of technical product deliveries, developing project plans, aligning teams, managing risk, and driving projects through design release processes.
Take ownership and accountability for the success of projects and cross-functional teams to ensure program schedules, performance metrics, and delivery meets business requirements on time and within budget.
Partner with stakeholders to understand process and system requirements, and deliver enhancements based on a changing technology landscape.
Participate in Continuous Improvement projects from inception to impactful results.
Perform data collection and statistical analysis, and report results to inform program schedules and deliverables.
Influence cross-functional stakeholders to continuously improve the process and inspire alignment.
Deliver change management for programs that are sustainable and maintain long-term success.
Successfully navigate multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
Who we're looking forMinimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience; or Master's degree with 3+ years' experience; or a PhD with no previous professional experience; or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of continuous improvement or technical program management.
- Experience guiding cross-functional teams and demonstrating influence skills to deliver results.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to present to audiences at all levels in the Company.
Preferred qualificationsKnowledge of Program Management methods and experience in Product Development & Release (PDR) procedures.
Formal project management training such as PMP certification
Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall project methodologies.
Familiarity with project management software and tools including Planview, MS Project, QuickBase, Office Timeline, or equivalent.
Experience in Lean Six Sigma methodology or certification (Green Belt, Black Belt) is a plus.
Knowledge of Change Management methodologies is a plus.
Experience in or knowledge of Semiconductor fabrication, Semiconductor Equipment Operations, or related industries is a plus.

Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories - On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. 'On-site Flex' you'll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. 'Virtual Flex' you'll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
