Technical/Professional - Buyer/Procurement Analyst | Orlando, Florida, United States Job Summary: Technical/Professional - Buyer/Procurement Analyst About the Role Join the dynamic SEMAC organization as an Experienced Buyer/Procurement Analyst supporting multiple MFC programs and locations in Orlando, FL. This position offers the chance to play a key role in the acquisition and management of materials for Department of Defense (DoD) projects, including high-impact electrical hardware procurement. Responsibilities - Manage supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance for moderate-to-high-risk subcontracts and purchase orders - Prepare comprehensive bid packages and conduct bidder conferences to ensure competitive sourcing - Analyze and evaluate supplier proposals, recommending qualified subcontractors for award - Perform detailed price analysis and negotiate favorable subcontract terms and conditions - Draft and administer subcontracts, including modifications, additions, and deletions as project needs evolve - Collaborate with program teams and internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives - Develop and refine subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms for specialized materials and services - Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARs and company policies throughout the procurement lifecycle - Manage high-volume commodity purchasing, including research and resolution of sourcing challenges - Participate in policy and procedure development to drive procurement excellence Required Skills and Experience - Minimum 15 years of direct procurement or buyer experience, preferably within government or defense sectors - Hands-on experience with SAP for procurement processes - In-depth knowledge of FAR/DFARs as it pertains to purchasing electrical components - Proven ability to manage complex, high-volume requisition environments - Strong negotiation, documentation, and supplier management capabilities Preferred Skills - Prior experience with government purchasing, especially for DoD programs - Expertise in sourcing and procuring electrical hardware and components Benefits - Opportunity to work on high-visibility and impactful defense programs - Collaborative, innovative, and supportive work environment - Professional development and career advancement pathways - Competitive compensation and benefits package How to Apply Ready for your next career challenge?
