Technical/Professional - Buyer/Procurement Analyst | Orlando, Florida, United States [About the Role] Join the SEMAC organization as an Experienced Buyer/Procurement Analyst, where you will play a vital role in sourcing and managing the acquisition of materials for multiple high-impact MFC programs and locations. In this dynamic position based in Orlando, FL, you will oversee supplier relationships, negotiate complex subcontracts, and drive value for Department of Defense (DOD) programs. [Responsibilities] - Prepare comprehensive bid packages and conduct bidders' conferences to ensure competitive sourcing. - Analyze and evaluate supplier proposals for cost, schedule, and technical compliance. - Negotiate subcontract terms, perform price analysis, and recommend top-performing suppliers. - Draft, review, and administer subcontracts and purchase orders for specialized electrical hardware. - Manage high-volume commodities, ensuring timely procurement of materials for production and sustainment. - Coordinate with program teams and cross-functional business areas to align sourcing strategies. - Lead the reconciliation of invoices and resolve sourcing challenges through proactive research. - Support development of procurement policies and procedures in collaboration with contracts and purchasing teams. - Ensure compliance with FAR/DFARs and other government purchasing regulations. [Required Skills and Experience] - 15+ years in procurement, supply chain, or buyer roles with demonstrated success in high-volume, complex environments. - Proven expertise in DOD or government purchasing with electrical hardware and components. - Advanced proficiency using SAP for procurement functions. - Strong negotiation, analytical, and supplier management abilities. - Comprehensive understanding of FAR/DFARs and procurement compliance.
