OverviewAbout this Position: The
Technical Product Owner/Builder supports the development and evolution of platform products and capabilities across client-facing solutions and internal platform initiatives.
This role combines product ownership with hands-on execution. The ideal candidate enjoys working closely with stakeholders and engineering teams to define requirements, shape solutions, validate outcomes, and continuously improve the products they support.
The Technical Product Owner / Builder serves as a bridge between Product, Delivery, and Engineering, helping ensure products are built to meet business needs and provide value to users.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys both product thinking and problem solving and wants to continue growing their technical product management capabilities.
ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll Do: Product Ownership- Partner with stakeholders to understand business needs and define product requirements.
- Translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlog items.
- Manage and refine the product backlog in partnership with engineering and product leadership.
- Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, and other team ceremonies.
- Help drive delivery of product enhancements and platform initiatives.
Product Development & Delivery- Work closely with engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Create prototypes, workflows, configurations, or lightweight solutions when appropriate to help validate ideas and accelerate delivery.
- Support implementation planning and help ensure requirements are clearly understood.
- Maintain product documentation and support continuous improvement efforts.
Product Validation- Define acceptance criteria and expected outcomes for product features and enhancements.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and release validation activities.
- Confirm that implemented solutions meet business requirements and user needs.
- Identify gaps, edge cases, and opportunities for improvement.
Product Expertise & Support- Develop deep knowledge of assigned products, platform capabilities, workflows, and system dependencies.
- Act as a primary point of contact for product-related questions and requirement clarification.
- Support teams in understanding product behavior, expected functionality, and business rules.
- Partner with Engineering and Delivery teams to analyze product-related issues, clarify requirements, and help identify solutions.
QualificationsWhat You Bring- 3-5+ years of experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Software Engineering, Business Analysis, or a related technical role.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience gathering requirements, writing user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and managing product backlogs.
- Understanding of software development lifecycles and experience partnering closely with engineering teams to deliver digital products and platform solutions.
- Ability to create prototypes, workflows, configurations, or lightweight solutions that help validate ideas and support product delivery.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into practical solutions and explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to develop deep product expertise, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and help teams understand product behavior, requirements, and expected functionality.
- Nice to have: Experience with Jira, Confluence, APIs, Postman, AI tools, automation platforms, or configuration-based systems.

Compensation Range: USD $135,375.00 - USD $185,200.00/Annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
