Job Purpose:

Actual annual compensation offered will be based on several variables including geographic location, work experience, education and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer. The average compensation for this role is $82,800 - 103,600 CAD

The Technical Product Manager II for Internal ERP Applications plays a pivotal role in managing and optimizing the organization's ERP systems and IT project management processes. This position is responsible for driving the development, enhancement, and integration of internal ERP applications to streamline business operations, improve efficiency, and support organizational goals. This technical product Manager is accountable for Delivered solution effectiveness - projected vs. actual ROI ratio, usage, etc., and also "Customer" satisfaction - qualitative & quantitative. The Technical Product Owner's role is crucial in achieving departmental objectives by ensuring that internal ERP solutions effectively support and enhance the department's operations.

Project Focus:

The TPM in this role will focus on implementing Lifecycle Management processes for our top vendors. The core focus will be on the design and implementation of Lifecycle and Renewals processes and systems, and Customer Success across North America.

Customer Success is the discipline of guiding customers through the post-sale journey to ensure they achieve their desired outcomes, thereby driving product adoption, account expansion, and long-term retention-all of which are critical to maximizing recurring revenue. The position will focus on Renewal processes specifically, and working in systems designed to improve process automation and visibility of renewal related data.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap for internal ecosystems and applications, aligning with organizational objectives and IT strategy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define product vision, goals, and requirements based on business needs and industry best practices.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of ecosystems and applications-related IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business units, and external vendors, to manage project milestones and resolve any issues.
  • Conduct needs assessments and gather requirements from various departments to understand business processes and identify areas for ecosystems and applications system improvements.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications, document them into backlogs in Jira(or through Xidea/Boss Ticket), and work with development teams to implement solutions.
  • Collaborate with developers, system engineers, and other IT professionals to design and build ecosystems and applications application features and enhancements. Ensure technical solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with best practices and organizational standards
  • Act as the main point of contact between business units and the IT department, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Provide regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Develop and execute testing plans to validate the functionality, performance, and stability of ecosystems and applications before deployment. Manage user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback to make necessary adjustments and improvements.
  • Develop training materials and conduct sessions to educate users on new features and functionalities of ecosystems and applications. Provide ongoing support and address any issues or concerns related to ecosystems and applications systems.
  • Monitor system performance and user feedback to identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement best practices for ecosystems and applications.
  • Technical Specifications: Convert business needs into comprehensive technical specifications, ensuring clarity for development teams to effectively implement solutions; Work closely with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and validate technical feasibility, enhancing overall project outcomes; Maintain a repository of specifications and documentation to support future enhancements and knowledge transfer.


Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
  • >3 to 5 Years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
  • Proven experience (typically up to 5 years) working with minimal supervision as a Product Manager or Project Manager in IT, with a focus on ERP systems.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and IT project management methodologies.
  • Strong IT Distribution Industry background is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Orientation du projet

Dans le cadre de ce poste, le ou la gestionnaire de produit technique se concentrera sur la mise en œuvre de processus de gestion du cycle de vie pour nos principaux fournisseurs. L'objectif principal sera la conception et la mise en œuvre de processus et de systèmes liés à la gestion du cycle de vie et aux renouvellements, ainsi qu'à la réussite client partout en Amérique du Nord.

Responsabilités
  • Élaborer et maintenir une feuille de route complète des produits pour les écosystèmes et les applications internes, en l'harmonisant avec les objectifs organisationnels et la stratégie TI.
  • Collaborer avec les parties prenantes afin de définir la vision, les objectifs et les exigences du produit en fonction des besoins de l'entreprise et des pratiques exemplaires du secteur.
  • Superviser la planification, l'exécution et la livraison des projets TI liés aux écosystèmes et aux applications, en veillant à ce qu'ils soient réalisés dans les délais, conformément à la portée établie et au budget prévu.
  • Coordonner les activités avec les équipes interfonctionnelles, notamment les équipes TI, les unités commerciales et les fournisseurs externes, afin de gérer les jalons des projets et de résoudre les problèmes.
  • Effectuer des évaluations des besoins et recueillir les exigences auprès de différents services afin de comprendre les processus opérationnels et de cerner les possibilités d'amélioration des systèmes liés aux écosystèmes et aux applications.
  • Traduire les exigences opérationnelles en spécifications techniques, les documenter dans des carnets de travail dans Jira (ou au moyen d'un billet Xidea/Boss), puis collaborer avec les équipes de développement à la mise en œuvre des solutions.
  • Collaborer avec les développeurs, les ingénieurs systèmes et les autres professionnels des TI afin de concevoir et de développer des fonctionnalités et des améliorations pour les applications des écosystèmes. Veiller à ce que les solutions techniques soient évolutives, sécurisées et conformes aux pratiques exemplaires ainsi qu'aux normes organisationnelles.
  • Agir comme principal point de contact entre les unités commerciales et le service des TI, en assurant une communication claire et efficace tout au long du cycle de vie des projets.
  • Fournir régulièrement aux parties prenantes et à la haute direction des mises à jour sur l'état d'avancement des projets, les risques et les jalons.
  • Élaborer et exécuter des plans de tests afin de valider la fonctionnalité, la performance et la stabilité des écosystèmes et des applications avant leur déploiement. Gérer les essais d'acceptation par les utilisateurs (EAU) et recueillir leurs commentaires afin d'apporter les ajustements et les améliorations nécessaires.
  • Élaborer du matériel de formation et animer des séances visant à familiariser les utilisateurs avec les nouvelles fonctionnalités des écosystèmes et des applications. Fournir un soutien continu et répondre aux problèmes ou aux préoccupations liés aux systèmes des écosystèmes et des applications.
  • Surveiller la performance des systèmes et les commentaires des utilisateurs afin de cerner les possibilités d'optimisation et d'amélioration.
  • Se tenir au courant des tendances du secteur et des technologies émergentes afin de recommander et de mettre en œuvre les pratiques exemplaires applicables aux écosystèmes et aux applications.

Connaissances, compétences et expérience
  • De 3 à 5 ans d'expérience professionnelle pertinente.
  • Baccalauréat en informatique, en technologies de l'information, en administration des affaires ou dans un domaine connexe.
  • Un diplôme d'études supérieures ou des certifications constituent un atout.
