Job Summary
Seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with 10+ years of overall IT/ERP experience and strong project management expertise delivering Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1) implementations, upgrades, integrations, and transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of JDE E1 architecture, functional modules, integrations, data migration, testing, cutover, and production deployment, combined with proven experience managing complex ERP programs involving multiple business and technology teams. Experience within Healthcare, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, or other regulated environments is highly preferred, along with an understanding of regulatory, compliance, validation, and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end delivery of Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1) implementation, upgrade, enhancement, migration, and integration projects.
• Manage projects across the complete lifecycle, including discovery, requirements, solution design, development/configuration, integration, data migration, testing, UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, budgets, resource plans, RAID logs, and delivery metrics.
• Coordinate activities across JDE functional consultants, technical teams, developers, integration teams, infrastructure, database, QA, business teams, and third-party vendors.
• Identify project risks, technical dependencies, resource constraints, and delivery issues and drive timely mitigation and resolution.
• Manage scope, schedule, budget, quality, and stakeholder expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide project leadership across JDE E1 implementations involving Order-to-Cash (OTC), Procurement/Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Inventory and Distribution, Manufacturing, Finance, and Supply Chain/Logistics.
• Understand JDE E1 technical components, integrations, interfaces, batch processes, reports, workflows, security, and data dependencies.
• Coordinate JDE integrations with enterprise applications, third-party platforms, middleware, APIs, databases, and external systems.
• Oversee data conversion, migration, reconciliation, interface testing, integration testing, regression testing, and UAT activities.
• Manage technical and business readiness for production deployment.
• Develop and execute cutover, go-live, rollback, and hypercare plans.
• Manage ERP initiatives within Healthcare, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, or other regulated environments.
• Ensure project activities align with applicable quality, compliance, validation, security, and audit requirements.
• Collaborate with Quality, Regulatory, Compliance, Validation, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure appropriate documentation, traceability, testing evidence, approvals, and governance are maintained throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Serve as the primary point of coordination between business stakeholders, IT teams, JDE consultants, vendors, and senior leadership.
• Facilitate project governance meetings, steering committee updates, status reviews, technical discussions, and escalation meetings.
• Translate complex technical issues into clear business impacts, risks, options, and recommendations.
• Manage third-party implementation partners and vendors against agreed scope, milestones, SLAs, and deliverables.
• Provide executive-level reporting on project status, risks, dependencies, financials, and key decisions.
Required Qualifications
• 10+ years of overall IT/ERP experience with significant experience in Technical Project Management.
• 3-5 years of experience managing Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1) implementations.
• 3-5 years of demonstrated experience delivering at least one end-to-end JDE E1 implementation or major transformation program.
• 3-5 years of strong understanding of the JDE E1 implementation lifecycle and architecture.
• 5+ years of functional understanding of JDE modules such as OTC, Procurement, Inventory, Distribution, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance.
• 5+ years of experience managing integrations, interfaces, data migration, testing, UAT, cutover, go-live, and hypercare.
• Strong understanding of ERP integration patterns, APIs, middleware, databases, and enterprise application landscapes.
• Experience managing cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Strong experience with project planning, RAID management, resource management, financial tracking, change management, and executive reporting.
• Experience working in Healthcare, Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Medical Devices, or other regulated environments.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or similar tools.
Preferred Qualifications
• Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne implementation experience within a Life Sciences or Healthcare organization.
• Experience with GxP, CSV/CSA, FDA, SOX, or validated systems.
• Experience managing JDE integrations with ERP, CRM, WMS, MES, PLM, supply chain, or other enterprise platforms.
• Experience managing global ERP implementations involving multiple sites, business units, or countries.
Certifications
• PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or equivalent project management certification.
