Full Job Description

Title:

Technical Lead

This is a contingent position based upon contract award

KBR is seeking a Technical Lead to join our team. In this role you will be key personnel responsible for supporting the integration and implementation of end-to-end solutions into the enterprise and participate in the requirements process as directed by the Government. The Technical Lead will work through a variety of efforts to identify integration risks (e.g. technical schedule, or performance), opportunities for process improvements, and recommend best practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes user27s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specifications.
  • Analyzes system requirements and provides support to design and development activities.
  • Guides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studies.
  • Provides technical guidance and support for the integration of requirements, design, and technology.
  • Interacts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and associated problems, issues or conflicts.
  • Communicate with other program personnel and government staff

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ten (10) or more years27 experience with technical or programmatic integration roles
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Demonstrated experience with technical project management
  • Experience providing recommendations to address issues and shortfalls in security, vulnerability, confidentiality, integrity, and availability
  • Experience providing systems engineering support to evaluate utility and demand for capabilities, systems, and services and suggest modifications
  • Demonstrated experience executing and managing end-use requirements gathering and curation activities for Information Technology (IT) systems and services
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present results to senior leaders
  • Experience supporting the federal government or DoD
  • Active TS/SCI clearance is required

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or its DoD equivalent or coursework
  • Enterprise Architecture Certification (e.g. TOGAF)
  • Experience as a technical writer

Basic Compensation:

$169,000 - $206,500 (This is for the Washington, DC Metro Area Only)

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate27s knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:
