Full Job Description
About the Role

The Technical Lead - Full-Stack Software & Data provides technical leadership within a cross-functional Product-Oriented Delivery (POD) team responsible for delivering cloud-native applications, data platforms, and AI-enabled digital solutions supporting Cementing operations. The POD brings together Software, Data, AI/ML, Automation, UX, and Cementing domain expertise around shared product outcomes.

This hands-on role owns how solutions are designed and delivered within the POD. Working with the Product Champion, Stream Lead, engineers, designers, and domain experts, the Technical Lead establishes technical direction, coordinates multidisciplinary delivery, mentors engineers, and remains directly involved in developing scalable applications, services, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and data products.

This is a senior technical individual-contributor role that leads through expertise, influence, coordination, and coaching rather than formal people-management authority. The successful candidate will combine deep full-stack engineering expertise with modern cloud architecture, data engineering, and AI-assisted development practices to accelerate delivery while maintaining quality, security, reliability, and measurable business value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the technical lead within a cross-functional POD, translating product objectives into technical architecture, delivery priorities, and coordinated engineering execution.
  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of full-stack software solutions supporting Cementing products and operations.
  • Design and develop scalable frontend applications, backend services, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native software platforms.
  • Establish technical direction across software engineering, data engineering, application architecture, and infrastructure.
  • Coordinate technical work across disciplines, clarify solution approaches, review engineering output, and help remove delivery obstacles.
  • Partner with the Product Champion, Stream Lead, engineers, UX designers, automation specialists, and Cementing domain experts to deliver shared POD outcomes.
  • Establish and promote coding standards, architecture guidelines, testing practices, security requirements, and software-quality processes.
  • Design and optimize cloud-native, containerized, microservices-based, and distributed-system architectures.
  • Lead the development of scalable data pipelines, APIs, and data products supporting operational applications and analytics.
  • Drive the responsible adoption of AI-assisted development tools, modern engineering practices, and continuous-delivery methodologies.
  • Review solution architecture, software quality, security, scalability, reliability, and performance throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Remain directly involved in software development while providing technical guidance, coaching, mentoring, and constructive feedback to engineers.
  • Promote shared ownership, rapid learning, technical innovation, reusable engineering practices, and knowledge sharing across the POD and Cementing Digital organization.
