Full Job Description
Support a high-impact digital presence by providing technical expertise and operational support across web and social media channels. This work will help ensure reliable, accessible, and engaging online experiences while advancing the client's ability to inform, connect, and engage with diverse audiences through innovative digital communications strategies.

Location: Remote with on-site in Washington, DC up to 2 days per week

What You'll Do:

Key Responsibilities
  • Architect, develop, and maintain secure, high-performing Drupal websites that meet industry standards for accessibility, usability, security, and design excellence.
  • Design, implement, and execute automated testing strategies to ensure the delivery of reliable, high-quality software solutions.
  • Support the full application lifecycle, helping define deployment strategies and ensuring smooth, efficient releases to production environments.
  • Mentor and collaborate with engineers across varying experience levels, fostering technical growth and promoting development best practices.
  • Partner directly with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to establish priorities, manage expectations, and deliver successful project outcomes.
  • Contribute to an Agile development environment, actively participating in planning, sprint execution, continuous improvement, and team collaboration.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges while identifying opportunities to enhance application performance, scalability, and user experience.
  • Champion quality, innovation, and continuous learning to help drive project and team success.


What You'll Bring:

Basic Qualifications
  • 7+ years building secure, accessible, responsive web applications
  • 5+ years building Drupal solutions, including module development, theming, migrations, writing automated tests, Drush and Composer
  • 3 years of leadership experience
  • All work must be conducted within the U.S.
  • Must be capable of receiving a Public Trust level clearance per the contract
  • 7 + years of the fundamental technologies of the web: HTTP, SSL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JSON


Nice to Have:

Preferred Skills/Qualifications
  • Familiarity working in and with Cloud technologies like AWS and Acquia
  • Familiarity with PHP frameworks such as Symfony, Laravel, and CakePHP
  • Experience building decoupled Drupal solutions
  • An active account on drupal.org
  • A general understanding of containerization
