Job DescriptionBristlecone Inc. is seeking a mid-senior Technical Lead to drive cloud-native application engineering and project management initiatives. In this role, you will architect, develop, and oversee end-to-end delivery of cloud solutions, mentor engineers, and collaborate with stakeholders to align technical strategy with business goals.
Responsibilities- Define and execute technical roadmaps for cloud-based applications and services.
- Lead cross-functional teams through all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Manage project scope, timelines, risks, and deliverables using Agile methodologies.
- Architect scalable, secure, and cost-optimized cloud infrastructures on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Mentor and coach engineers on best practices, code quality, and DevOps processes.
- Coordinate with product owners and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks to accelerate delivery.
- Conduct technical reviews, performance tuning, and root-cause analysis for production issues.
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory standards.
- Report project status, metrics, and outcomes to senior leadership.
Qualifications- 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, application engineering, and project leadership.
- Proficiency with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform services and infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Strong background in modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Node.js) and microservices design.
- Demonstrated success managing Agile projects and delivering complex solutions on schedule.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Solid understanding of security best practices, networking, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven ability to mentor technical teams and foster a collaborative culture.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, PMP, Scrum Master) are a plus.
