Full Job Description
The Mission

Probook is building the operating backbone for the home services industry, helping plumbing, HVAC, and electrical businesses run smarter as they scale. The impact is tangible and immediate - better execution and timing directly translate into real revenue, stronger margins, and better outcomes for operators on the ground.

We're tackling novel, greenfield problems and laying the framework for how AI gets applied in a $700B industry that has been historically underserved by modern software. If you want to work on foundational systems, see clear ROI from your work, and help shape a category from the earliest days, Probook is the place to do it.

The Mandate
  1. Execute "Zero-Defect" Setups: More than just "not dropping things", deeply understand each customer's nuanced business logic and craft setups that integrate seamlessly with their ops. Proactively address edge cases so CSMs don't have to escalate tickets to you.
  2. Clean Handoffs to Deployment & Account Management: Document custom setup decisions with precision and brevity. Give DS/AM exactly what they need-no more, no less-so they can make adjustments during Go-Live and beyond without your help.
  3. Drive Downstream Customer Success: Setup quality is the leading predictor of customer success. Your work determines whether customers integrate Probook into daily operations or let it gather dust. Execute configurations that make the product indispensable and set the foundation for retention and expansion.
Who You Are
  • Operational perfectionist. You don't just follow process, you obsess over it. Every detail matters because you know that downstream success or failure traces back to setup quality. Zero tolerance for missed steps.
  • Outcome forcer. You don't wait for things to happen, you make them happen. You hold customers accountable to timelines, push through resistance, and escalate blockers decisively when launch success is at risk.
  • Business savvy. You translate messy, real-world operations into precise system configurations designed to maximize ROI. You ask probing questions to surface hidden expectations and convert vague goals into concrete outcomes.
  • Technically sharp. You learn complex software quickly and don't make mistakes twice. You master new products as they evolve without constant hand-holding.
  • Clear and concise communicator. You document decisions with precision and brevity. You surface risks early, keep everyone in the loop, and your handoffs give teammates exactly what they need to succeed.
Requirements
  • 0-3 years in engineering, technical implementation, customer success, operations, or consulting roles (new grads welcome with relevant skills)
  • High learning aptitude with obsessive attention to detail: master technical systems independently, manage complex multi-stakeholder projects with zero tolerance for missed steps
  • Strong business acumen: comfortable discussing ROI, pricing logic, and operational workflows
  • Exceptional documentation and communication skills: capture nuance concisely, surface risks proactively, deliver clean handoffs
  • NYC based: Excited to work in-office 6 days/week in our high-intensity, high-collaboration culture
Why Join Probook?
  • The Market: A $700B industry with clear tailwinds: AI adoption, labor shortages, and generational transitions creating demand for operational modernization. We are defining the category, not fighting for share.
  • The Traction: $10M ARR in 18 months. Cash-flow positive. Product-market fit is established; we are now optimizing for scale.
  • The Backing: Two Tier-1 VC's.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Competitive Compensation: 105 - 125K Base Comp + Equity
  • Equity: Meaningful equity stake.
  • Health: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Lifestyle: Monthly food stipend and unlimited office snacks.
  • Access: Direct access to world-class investors and advisors.
