We are seeking a
Technical Expert for a
future funded role with SME level expertise in networking who provides Network support that requires system level design, architecture or enterprise security and security boundaries, datacenter virtualization, CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure packet capture software, TCP/IP protocol stack, routing/switching protocols, stateful firewalls, and L3/L4 access controls (all three supported locations).
Position requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph level clearance. US citizenship is required.Required Skills: Must have skills needed to install, configure, and support the following:
- Cisco IOS, CatOS, NxOS, filter and access control, Ciscoworks, TACACS+, ASA, FWSM, HP Openview, Cisco routers, Cisco Switches, F5/Cisco load balancers, Infiniband, Juniper, FiberChannel (FC) SAN, and VPN (IPSEC)
- Physical installation and configuration and troubleshooting of network routers, switches, load balancers and security devices.
- Expert level support to include physical installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization of network routers, switches, load balancers, and security devices (Cisco- based).
- Experienced in system level design and architecture of enterprise security, datacenter virtualization, and CAN/MAN/LAN infrastructure.
- Expert security enterprise boundary and datacenter architecture and design
- Create system diagrams and present high-level presentations to management.
- Experienced in packet capture software
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline and ten (10) years of demonstrable experience in network engineering (LAN), architecture, monitoring, security, and protection or fifteen (15) years' experience in lieu of degree.
Must have datacenter network design and architecture experience to include installation and configuration of Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and IPSEC virtual private networks.The pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary.
