This Opportunity

WSP is looking for an experienced Senior Hydraulic and Hydrology Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate possesses 12 years of related design engineering experience and is willing to collaborate, innovate, and grow a team.

Your Impact
  • Lead the analysis and design of hydraulic structures, including dams, channels, culverts, spillways, and stormwater management systems.
  • Oversee and conduct hydrologic and hydraulic modeling using industry-standard software (e.g., HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM).
  • Develop and review technical reports, designs, specifications and permit drawings.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including civil engineers, environmental scientists, and urban planners.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and staff.
  • Ensure projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, and standards.
  • Ability to lead a client or sector program.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project progress and ensure quality control.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Water Resources.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in hydraulic and hydrology engineering or a closely related field.
