Join our team as a Technical Director for Market Application in Grid Consulting to be at the forefront of revolutionizing the power infrastructure, driving innovation, and ensuring sustainable, efficient energy solutions.

How You'll Make an Impact
  • Forge strong partnerships with governmental and regulatory bodies, industry leaders, and key stakeholders to establish Siemens Energy as a trusted partner for grid consulting services in the region.
  • Stay current with the latest developments in technology and market trends by participating in conferences and association meetings, providing valuable insights into the organization.
  • Guide customers in understanding the potential benefits and risks of adopting new technologies and entering new markets, helping them make informed decisions.
  • Develop strategies and plans that enable customers to successfully navigate the challenges and opportunities associated with new technologies and markets.
  • Assist customers in defining study scopes and concepts that align with their business objectives and regulatory requirements, ensuring technical soundness and economic feasibility.
  • Review and analyze customer RFI/RFP documents, driving bid decisions in collaboration with business development and sales teams while enhancing competitiveness through expert advice on pricing strategies and contract negotiations.
What You Bring
  • Master's degree in electrical power engineering or a related field, combined with over 10 years' experience in the energy sector, showcasing a proven track record of successful consulting or substation projects.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in transmission planning and operational studies (100 kV ~ 765 kV), including power system performance analyses such as steady state analysis, dynamic stability, voltage stability, protection coordination, interaction between assets and control systems.
  • A deep understanding of ISO and utilities for new resource application approval processes and grid planning considerations, with relevant experience in collaborating and communicating with TSOs, DSOs, utilities, and developers.
  • Proficiency in Power Electronic applications (HVDC, STATCOM, Electrolyzer, BESS etc.), power transmission systems, data centers, grid code compliance, and new resource commercial development, along with knowledge of renewable generation technologies like Wind and Solar.
  • An analytical and strategic mindset, eager to explore and implement innovative solutions, complemented by excellent communication and negotiation skills to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Willing to travel approximately 30% domestically and internationally.
