Full Job Description
Job Purpose

  • Assess, propose new strategies, oversee, and lead content strategy creation for internal ADC development information sharing.
  • This position will also possess a strong awareness of effective strategic communication practices to create, maintain and execute a content strategy for ADC.
  • Additionally, this position will support the development of business plans to advance associate engagement and understanding within ADC by maximizing development content usage across all channels.


Key Accountabilities

  • In alignment with department business plan, create development information sharing goals and related content strategies to achieve.
  • Includes promotion of Auto Development Center (ADC) development associates and technologies internally to ADC and other Honda companies, and externally (academia, industry, etc.).
  • Determine and use creative, innovative, and high-quality methods and tools to achieve targets.
  • Assess, propose, and coordinate comprehensive process to enable high-quality information sharing throughout (to and from) all levels of leadership and associates at ADC, focusing on Div-Dept-Unit levels.
  • Establish related metrics, maintain, and do continuous improvement for main areas of responsibility.
  • Propose additional development information sharing strategies to help maximize ADC associate quality and experience while aligning with related HDMA and AHM functions, corporate strategies and directions.


Qualifications, Experience, and Skills

  • Minimum Educational Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Corporate Communication, Technical Writing, Journalism, Engineering or related field desired.
  • Minimum Experience:
    • At least 5 years of demonstrable relevant experience working in the industry.
  • Other Job-Specific Skills:
    • Strong content creation skills, mastery of various communication mediums, understanding of technical paper process, editing skills
    • Strong organization and planning skills
    • Effectiveness of communication strategies
    • Ability to develop and measure strategic technical and research communication effectiveness


Workstyle

  • This is an onsite job. One remote workday per week may be possible with prior departmental approval.
