Job Description:

Parsons is seeking talented and creative professionals to support a customer base currently experiencing a rapid adoption of Atlassian tools. This is an exceptional opportunity to leverage your expertise with Jira, Confluence, and Jira Assets to help our customer transform their business processes on an unprecedented scale. PROJECT:

Parsons is managing a Technical Services (TS) program for an agency within the Department of War to provide support for a variety of services, applications, and software development efforts.

RESPONSIBLITIES:

Parsons is seeking an Atlassian SME to perform the following:
  • Design and administration of multiple Jira Software (Agile Scrum) and Service Desk/Service Management projects
  • Design and implementation of Confluence spaces leveraging advanced functionality and design techniques to provide sophisticated solutions with a high degree of usability
  • Design and administration of multiple Jira Assets schemas supporting a variety of use-cases that extend Assets's functionality well beyond core asset management capabilities
  • Working with customer teams to understand their business processes and needs, help them understand the capabilities of the Atlassian tools, and develop solutions that deliver significant value
  • Provide informal, unstructured training sessions with end-users to help them become more self-sufficient at administering and managing their own projects and spaces
  • Creating skeleton technical Jira project reference documentation in Confluence for use by other Jira project administrators

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 4-year degree in Computer Science or related curriculum from an accredited institution preferred but not required.
  • 12+ years or more in a technology related field.
  • Must be US Citizen.
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance required.
  • Experience supporting multiple Jira projects, Confluence spaces, and Assets schemas simultaneously in support of different user teams
  • Experience supporting Agile Scrum teams
  • Advanced JQL and IQL skills (including Scriptrunner)
  • Experience with advanced Confluence page design
  • Experience with Jira automations (legacy and project), including using smart values
  • Experience analyzing and translating structured datasets into Jira Assets schema designs
  • Atlassian certification highly desirable
  • Jira & Assets API experience a plus
  • Certified Scrum Master certification a plus

Security Clearance Requirement:

Salary Range: $103,500.00 - $181,100.00
