What You'll Do

As a Technical Business Development Manager, you'll be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities with OEMs requiring Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA), box build, and electronic subassembly manufacturing services.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives focused on OEM electronics manufacturers and high-reliability industries.
  • Identify, pursue, and close new opportunities for Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA), electronic subassemblies, electromechanical assemblies, and related manufacturing services.
  • Build relationships with engineering teams, program managers, supply chain professionals, procurement leaders, and executive decision-makers.
  • Engage directly with customers to understand technical requirements and align Circuit Spring's manufacturing capabilities with their needs.
  • Partner with engineering, quality, estimating, supply chain, and operations teams to develop competitive manufacturing solutions.
  • Drive growth within military, medical, industrial controls, instrumentation, OEM electronics, and emerging technology markets.
  • Represent Circuit Spring at industry events, trade shows, engineering conferences, and customer facilities.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline and accurate forecasting through CRM tools.
  • Monitor industry trends, market activity, emerging technologies, and competitive positioning within the electronics manufacturing industry.


Requirements

What You Bring
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of business development, technical sales, account management, or customer-facing experience within Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS), PCB fabrication, PCBA, contract manufacturing, electronic components, or related industries.
  • Experience selling products or services into OEM electronics, industrial equipment, medical device, aerospace, defense, or technology markets.
  • Strong understanding of Printed Circuit Boards (PCB), Printed Circuit Board Assembly (PCBA), electronic manufacturing processes, and related engineering principles.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, program managers, procurement teams, and executive stakeholders.
  • Proven success identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Direct experience within PCB assembly, contract manufacturing, electronics manufacturing services (EMS), PCB fabrication, electronic components, connectors, wire harnesses, controls, automation, or related technical industries.
  • Knowledge of IPC standards, design-for-manufacturing (DFM), and electronics manufacturing best practices.
  • Familiarity with military specifications, aerospace quality systems, or FDA-regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Existing relationships within OEM electronics manufacturers, engineering organizations, contract manufacturers, or electronic product developers.
