The OpportunityThe TELUS Technical Business Architecture team leads an outside-in focus for TELUS Health Investments enabling remarkable experiences for our customers. Our team will help business leaders make strategic decisions driving incremental and traceable business outcomes. We will champion Health business goals and align with strategic initiatives to transform our direct and indirect channels, employer, member and provider experiences to drive economies of scale as we progress through our digitization journey collaboratively at TELUS.
What you'll doWith goals of transparency, interoperability to drive simplicity and enable transformation for Health Architecture, as a Sr. Technology Architect, you will be accountable to align business strategy and outcomes to technology opportunities with a focus across different domains for end to end experiences. This role will be focused on designing the FMO for Global Delivery Platform Employer Solutions that supports the differentiating capabilities required to support our health customers. You will build trusted relationships with Business Architect peers and cross functional stakeholders in IT and Business to assess, prioritize and roadmap investments to drive transformation and capability maturity.
What you bring- Leveraging your knowledge and collaborating with IT and Business primes to establish target models and conclusions for leadership to make informed investment decisions about the platform
- Combines skills of consultant, subject-matter expert, Business, Enterprise and/or Solution architecture to ensure investments are delivering on business outcomes
- Hands-on work with requirements, capabilities, applications, data, to help define the ongoing roadmaps and support application portfolio rationalization decisions
- Main deliverables would be As-Is and To-Be architecture blueprint artifacts aligning capability investments to business outcomes
- Familiarity with concepts and standards from TM Forum, like eTOM and TAM, key functionality domains like CRM, Fulfillment, Assurance, and/or Billing, and support areas like Product Catalog Management, Identity Management, Data Analytics, etc.
- Familiarity with Systems, Information, Processes & Governance, to design current and future modes of operation, in specific domain of focus (like Fulfillment, Billing, Assurance, etc.)
- Highly motivated, creative and self-sufficient with the ability to work successfully in a demanding, fast-paced environment
- Known for your ability and agility to excel in dynamic and ambiguous environments, including proactivity identifying opportunities and challenges, and anticipating and addressing roadblocks
- Enterprise or Solution Architecture experience
- Transformation/Change Leadership
- 7-10 years of IT Business experience and University degree or equivalent experience
Great-to-haves- Enterprise/Business Architecture/Analysis (TOGAF, Archimate, Business Architecture Guild CBA, IIBA CCBA/CBAP, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with Business IT Governance (Cobit)
- MBA or other advanced degree
- Health, Case Management, Client Relationship Management ecosystem experience
- Experience with cloud services vendors as we develop our Business Architecture Blueprint
