Full Job Description
Under general supervision, supports the software development lifecycle by gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and system requirements, including user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams. Acts as a key liaison between customers, business stakeholders, and development teams to ensure accurate translation of business needs into technical solutions. Leverages experience with Symitar, Core Director, SilverLake, and CIF 20/20 within financial services environments to drive successful project outcomes. Recognized for strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to build effective relationships while adapting to changing business priorities.
This position may be worked remotely within the United States, with the exception of California.
All positions, regardless of location, may require an onsite interview or in-person onboarding requirement to verify your identity.
What you'll be responsible for:
• Interacts with customers to gather system requirements.
• Defines the system and functional requirements of the product.
• Prepares business requirements and functional specifications.
• Serves as a resource and/or participant in business process re-design activities. Assists the customer in determining if and how system enhancements may improve process flow and business function.
• May perform application, system and regression tests.
• Responsible for creating business requirements and system documentation, as well as contributing to end-user and project management documentation.
• Works with quality assurance and programming teams to ensure changes are migrated into production correctly.
• Interacts with technical teams to convey business requirements.
• Works with industry research groups to prepare for product trends.
• May assist less experienced peers.
• May perform other job duties as assigned.
What you'll need to have:
• A minimum of 4 years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst or Business Analyst role gathering and documenting user stories, use cases, and process flow diagrams, or related role in financial institution customer support.
• Able to accommodate occasional business needs after hours and/or on weekends.
• Must have experience in Symitar, Core Director, Silverlake or CIF20|20.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on quality and accuracy.
• Excellent communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills. An individual should have high energy and be a creative thinker in a changing environment.
