Salesforce Technical Architect
Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Must Have:
• Apply expert-level technical expertise across multiple Salesforce domains, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, and platform capabilities like Flow, Apex, and LWC.
• Lead the design and implementation of Salesforce solutions, ensuring scalability, performance, and security across applications, integrations, and third-party tools.
Manage Salesforce architecture to support enterprise-wide initiatives involving:
Application:
• Configurations, customization, and development with Apex, Visualforce, and LWC.
Integrations:
• Middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft), APis, and event-driven architectures.
Data:
• Data migration, ET processes, and data governance within Salesforce environments.
• Drive the adoption of Salesforce best practices, including DevOps methodologies, CI/CD pipelines, and Git-based version control.
• Develop and maintain enterprise-wide Salesforce architecture standards, frameworks, and best practices.
• Collaborate with IT staff, subject matter experts, business partners, and clients to assess business processes, identify pain points, and define architectural solutions.
• Design and review Salesforce solutions to ensure alignment with organizational strategies, data governance policies, and technical standards.
• Lead large and complex Salesforce projects and initiatives that may involve cross-functional teams, cloud-to-cloud integrations, and cutting-edge technologies.
• Partner with stakeholders to create business case assessments, project justifications, ROl analyses, architectural reviews, and RFP evaluations.
• Evaluate and recommend Salesforce apps, add-ons, and AppExchange solutions to enhance system capabilities.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project personnel and architects on Salesforce-related projects.
• Stay current with Salesforce releases, new features, and industry trends, recommending improvements or innovations to existing Salesforce architecture.
Roles & Responsibilities
Architecture & Strategy
o Lead end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture across multiple clouds and enterprise platforms
o Define target-state architecture, roadmaps, and governance frameworks
o Establish enterprise standards for scalability, performance, and security
Solution Design & Implementation
o Design and oversee:
o Configurations, customizations, and development using Apex, LWC, and Flows
o Integration frameworks using APIs, middleware, and event-driven pat terns
o Data architecture, migration strategies, and governance models
Enterprise Integration
o Define API-led and event-based integration strategies across Salesforce and external systems
o Work with middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft) for enterprise integration solutions
Governance & Best Practices
o Drive adoption of:
o DevOps methodologies
o CI/CD pipelines and release strategies
o Develop and maintain reusable frameworks, reference architectures, and design patterns
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
o Partner with IT, business stakeholders, and clients to:
o Understand requirements
o Identify pain points
o Translate business needs into scalable solutions
o Lead architecture workshops, reviews, and design approvals
Delivery Leadership
o Lead large-scale Salesforce programs involving:
o Cross-functional teams
o Multi-cloud and multi-system integrations
o Provide technical leadership and mentorship to architects and developers
Innovation & Continuous Improvement
o Stay updated with Salesforce releases and industry trends
o Evaluate and recommend Salesforce AppExchange products and enhancements
o Drive innovation through emerging capabilities (AI, automation, data platforms)

Bachelors or Masters degree in one of the following:

Engineering (Computer / Electronics / Related field)
Salary Range: $180000 - $240000 a year
