Full Stack Developer / Technical Architect with deep expertise in
Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) to design and deliver scalable, data-driven customer engagement solutions.
The ideal candidate will drive
end-to-end architecture, including
Cloud Pages, API integrations, data architecture, and omnichannel campaign orchestration.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement SFMC-based solutions across Email, Mobile, and Web channels
- Architect and develop Cloud Pages, Journey Builder workflows, and Automation Studio processes
- Build and manage Data Extensions, audience segmentation, and personalization strategies
- Develop and integrate REST/SOAP APIs between SFMC and external systems (e.g., CRM, ecommerce, identity systems)
- Design data architecture and sync processes (real-time + batch integrations)
- Develop dynamic content using AMPscript, SSJS, and HTML/JavaScript
- Translate marketing requirements into technical design and implementation
- Implement and optimize customer journeys and omnichannel campaigns
- Ensure data integrity, performance optimization, and scalability
- Lead troubleshooting and resolution of production issues and campaign failures
- Collaborate with business, marketing, and engineering teams
- Drive best practices, governance, and reusable frameworks
Required Technical SkillsSalesforce Marketing Cloud (Core)- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Contact Builder
- Email Studio, Mobile Studio
- Cloud Pages development
- Expertise in:
- Data Extensions, SQL queries, segmentation
- AMPscript, SSJS, personalization logic
- Experience with SFMC API integrations (REST/SOAP)
Integration & Architecture- Experience integrating SFMC with:
- Salesforce CRM / external platforms
- Identity systems / Customer Data platforms
- Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and API-based triggers
- Experience designing real-time and batch data synchronization workflows
Full Stack Development- Frontend: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript
- Backend (preferred exposure):
- Java / Node.js / Python
- Experience building end-to-end web applications integrated with SFMC
Data & Analytics- Strong expertise in SQL and data modeling
- Experience working with large-scale marketing datasets
- Ability to design reporting and campaign performance analytics
Preferred Skills- Experience with Customer Data Platforms (CDP) / Identity resolution systems
- Exposure to MarTech ecosystems (CRM, loyalty, personalization platforms)
- Knowledge of DevOps / CI-CD practices
- Experience with MobilePush, SMS campaigns, and omnichannel orchestration
- Familiarity with data privacy and compliance (GDPR, CAN-SPAM)
Experience- 6-12 years of experience in software development and/or MarTech
- Minimum 3-5 years in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Prior experience in Technical Architect / Lead roles preferred
Soft Skills- Strong stakeholder communication (business + marketing + tech)
- Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions
- Leadership mindset with focus on scalability and reusability
- Problem-solving skills in high-paced delivery environments
Nice to Have- Exposure to AI-driven marketing automation or personalization
- Knowledge of Salesforce ecosystem beyond SFMC (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud)
