Job description
This position contributes to our vision by:
• Application Implementation:
o Installs and configures software components for Business applications relying on databases and other technical middleware, and client side counterpart. Handles multiple (non-production and production) application environments
o Helps in specifying and defining the proper infrastructure requirements for server based applications in new implementations
o Participates in testing/validation of new products/components or improvements to systems related to the scope of work
o Collaborates with Application and other ITS teams regarding creation and evolution of documentation, implementation standards and processes, and support phase activities scoping and documentation
o Installs, maintains and manages documentation of desktop applications in perimeter
o Adheres to safe work practices and contributes to the evolution of the health, safety, and environmental program and culture;
• Technical Support:
o Provides technical support and troubleshoots issues related to installation/operation, and offers timely solutions to ensure the optimal performance
o Manages changes and upgrades (major/minor) on the environments based on requirements and updates documentation and repositories accordingly, following change management procedures.
o Analyzes and defines monitoring of critical components health and execution of schedules
o Supports configured installations, diagnoses and fixes issues with middleware and other applicative components of applications
o Investigates root causes and resolves problems in a structured approach, involving other teams if required
o Desktop support (including Citrix VDIs)

Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, engineering or related field - preferred
• Requires 3-5 years of related experience in business critical application installation/configuration and support in Windows systems environments
Knowledge/Skills
• Knowledge of PTC Windchill or Dassaut 3DX installation and setup - Advanced
• Knowledge of other PLM, ALM systems (at least one other product/vendor) - Desirable
• Knowledge and field experience with Windows Servers administration - Advanced
• Knowledge of IIS, Application servers and Web servers configuration and management - Advanced
• Knowledge of infrastructure services (AD, DNS, DHCP, NTP, LDAP, Digital certificates...) - Advanced
• Knowledge and experience with Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) and National Institute for Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-171 - Basic
• Knowledge and field experience with MS SQL (2016 to 2022) - Basic
• Knowledge of virtualization environments (vmware) - Basic
• Knowledge and experience in Citrix application publication or similar technologies - Basic
• Troubleshooting and problem solving skills - Advanced
• Written and verbal communication (English) - Advanced
