Full Job Description
Description:
This is a data-focused Technical Analyst who will have responsibilities that include developing, analyzing, testing, and optimizing data formats, ensuring compatibility and performance. The role also involves creating technical documentation, providing end-user support and training for new applications and data structures, and conducting post-implementation reviews of systems and reporting to support both customers and management.

What You Will Do:
  • Work with business for new demands and prioritization
  • Validating requirements to facilitate effectively developed solutions
  • Solutioning features before build Phase
  • Meet with key stakeholders to understand business needs and alignment to Portal goals
  • Learn business and systems data and process flows; and how they affects surrounding systems and operational areas.
  • Document systems and process flow
  • Design appropriate security controls in every solution to ensure the network, applications, and data are not compromised
  • Delivery of Impact Assessments, including sizing estimates for effort
  • Create proof of concept solutions
  • Complete Source to Target Mappings
  • Collaborate with other POs for cross team dependencies
  • Assist PO with the creation of user stories
  • Address timeline conflicts
  • Research, analyze, track and resolve high complex production problems
  • Work with IT Infrastructure team to develop and implement effective production monitoring.
  • Ensure the department leverages internal tools and applications effectively
  • Build, support, and maintain moderately complex processes, programs, and data
  • Participate or lead Large scoped projects
  • Create complex ad-hoc reports for internal usage and external usage
  • Develop programs, time estimates and project schedules based on prioritization and business requirements
  • Experience with various technologies, frameworks and processes, such as the Microsoft BI Suite, XML, JSON, MapReduce, Tableau, Hadoop, data warehousing, data modeling and data validation techniques.
  • Basic understanding of Hadoop fundamentals
  • Experience reading data from Hadoop utilizing PIG, HIVE and Spark
  • Maintain current on new developments in technology-related industries.
  • Participate in corporate quality and data governance programs.
  • The position requires a full-time work schedule. Full-time is defined as working at least 40 hours per week, plus any additional hours as requested or as needed to meet business requirements. Participate in on-call rotation.

What You Will Bring:
  • High-School Diploma or GED in general field of study required. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field preferred
  • 3 years of experience in computer technology and/or information systems
  • 2 years of experience in data analysis, data management and integration, extracting and analysis reporting
  • 2 years of experience working in healthcare-related systems as a business / systems analyst or programmer
  • 5 years of experience in data analysis, management, integration and reporting preferred
  • 3 years of experience working in corporate enterprise-level systems as a business or systems analyst or programmer preferred
