POSITION SUMMARY

Domo is seeking an experienced Technical Adoption Engineer to provide a white-glove experience for our growing clients. This role goes beyond implementation-focusing on teaching and empowering clients to leverage the full capabilities of the Domo platform to meet their business objectives. As a trusted advisor, you will provide customized, hands-on enablement that ensures long-term success with Domo. This role requires a strategic and curious mindset to uncover the true needs of the customer and think creatively to provide solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Partner closely with clients to understand their specific needs and objectives with Domo. This involves sorting through the clutter to find the best route and uncovering the true ask from the customer;
  • Deliver custom, hands-on enablement tailored to client use cases, industry challenges, and team skill levels. This requires thinking creatively to provide solutions and playing out alternative scenarios;
  • Act as a technical mentor, guiding clients through best practices, advanced configurations, and scalable solutions. This is about providing new perspectives on familiar challenges and seeing patterns where others see complexity;
  • Provide deep expertise on Domo's full suite of capabilities, including data integration, visualization, automation, application capabilities, and AI-powered insights;
  • Drive client independence by equipping users with the knowledge and confidence to manage and optimize their Domo environments. This involves bringing new and fresh perspectives and making selections based on strategic thinking;
  • Gather client feedback and insights to inform product improvements and enhance training resources. This is about continuously asking "What if?" and adapting strategies accordingly.


JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Ability to creatively problem-solve in real-time, adapting to different learning styles and business needs. This includes having a strategic and constantly curious mindset to uncover the true needs of the customer and think creatively to provide solutions;
  • Extensive hands-on experience with the Domo platform, including deep technical knowledge of data integration, ETL, dashboards, and automation;
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts into practical, actionable guidance;
  • Experience working with enterprise clients and understanding their unique data and analytics challenges;
  • Strong background in teaching, consulting, or technical enablement, with a passion for educating customers.
