What you'll doOwn technical accounting- Lead the documentation of all technical accounting policies (cost of revenue, allocations, leases, revenue, stock based compensation, fixed assets, etc.)
- Serve as an advisor on strategic investments, acquisitions, and partnerships
- Review monthly financials for adherence to accounting policies
Lead preparation of audit and IPO preparedness- Coordinate with external audit firm on quarterly and annual audit requirements
- Lead the evaluation of presentation of balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statements
- Ensure compliance with current financial statement disclosures requirements
Proactive involvement in Finance Transformation initiatives to leverage AI and tooling to scale- Enhance or upgrade our our tech stack to enable the latest in AI technology
- Challenge our processes and develop AI first approach
What you'll bring- CPA license
- 2-5+ years at Big Four firm preferably servicing public companies
- 2-5+ years in house at high-growth enterprise software company
- Proficient in US GAAP
- Ability to identify areas for improvement and build solutions using AI
- Desire to drive operational efficiency to scale the accounting function
- A structured, self-directed, detail-oriented builder and problem solver who can design a process where none exists, run it, and improve it over time without being managed toward it. A bias for simplifying and automating processes and passion for building an AI-native finance function.
