Full Job Description
What you'll do

Own the revenue close
  • Maintain revenue policy
  • Review customer contracts and consumption reports
  • Prepare monthly revenue journal entries in accordance with ASC606

Manage customer onboarding
  • Coordinate internally and externally to properly on board customers (RFP questionnaires, access to purchase order portals, etc)
  • Build process with sales to collect purchase orders timely from customers

Ensure customers are invoiced timely and accurately
  • Build scaling systems and processes to ensure timely processing of customer invoices
  • Coordinate with tax to accurately collect and remit all taxes

Own customer collections process
  • Create and maintain collections dashboard to track status
  • Ensure timely follow up on past due invoices
  • Develop the process to communicate and escalate past due invoices

Proactive involvement in Finance Transformation initiatives to leverage AI and tooling to scale
  • Enhance or upgrade our our tech stack to enable the latest in AI technology
  • Challenge our processes and develop AI first approach
What you'll bring
  • 5-10+ years with a mix of public (highly regulated) and private (hyper growth)
  • Proficient in US GAAP (ASC 606)
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement and build solutions using AI
  • Desire to drive operational efficiency to scale the function
  • A structured, self-directed, detail-oriented builder and problem solver who can design a process where none exists, run it, and improve it over time without being managed toward it. A bias for simplifying and automating processes and passion for building an AI-native finance function.
