Job Description:Position Summary, Technical Account ManagerAs a NY Creates Technical Account Manager assigned to AIM Photonics you will play a pivotal role as the technical bridge between the customer/end-user's needs and our photonic and advanced packaging capabilities. As Technical Account Manager, the role is responsible for translating customer application requirements into manufacturable photonic/packaging solutions and help customers accelerate time-to-market/time-to-field. In addition, the Technical Account Manager is to provide first level technical support using our PDKs/ADKs, taping our chip designs, and testing the resulting chips/packages.
Key Responsibilities- Technical interface with users interested in AIM Photonics.
- Meet with customers to understand their application space and translate their needs into specific solutions that we can provide.
- Provide first level technical support in using our PDKs and ADKs to design PICs and packaging builds.
- The Technical Account Manager picks up from an initial sales lead, tracks NDAs/PDK agreements, and generates statements of work (SOWs) for sign-off by the technical team.
- Work with the Marketing, Communications, and Business Development teams to tailor messaging, represent AIM Photonics at industry events, and serve as the first line of technical service before the engineering teams.
- Develop and implement strategies to fill MPW runs and capacity at the Test, Assembly, and Packaging (TAP) Facility.
- Other reasonable duties assigned.
Requirements:Minimum Qualifications, Technical Account Manager- BS in electrical engineering, optics, physics, chemistry or other relevant technical engineering fields with at least five years' relevant experience
- Work experience in semiconductors, microelectronics, or integrated photonics
- Circuit design skills with layout and/or simulation of photonics or electronics
- Out-going, professional, and personable communications skills
- Extraordinary attention to detail with experience organizing customer development and satisfaction business processes
- Ability to self-start, work independently, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
This position is contingent on the satisfactory completion of a background check; this position may require annual background checks.
Preferred Qualifications, Technical Account Manager- MS or PhD in electrical engineering, optics, physics, chemistry or other relevant technical engineering fields
- Experience with EDA/EPDA software solutions and workflows, particularly for photonics

Salary Range: $140,000 - $180,000
