As a Technical Support professional within Baxter's Care Communications business, you will provide remote support for healthcare technology solutions that help hospitals and care teams stay connected. Care Communications solutions include nurse call systems, clinical communication platforms, and the networking, server, telephony, and infrastructure technologies that support patient care environments.
This is where your technical expertise helps healthcare customers maintain critical communication and IT systems. You will troubleshoot complex technical issues, document resolutions, and partner with internal teams to restore service and improve product performance. Your work directly contributes to the reliability of technology solutions used by healthcare organizations and the caregivers who depend on them every day.
What You'll Do
- Provide remote technical troubleshooting and issue resolution for Care Communications customers and supported healthcare technology environments.
- Diagnose and resolve networking, server, operating system, VoIP, wireless, security, and infrastructure-related issues.
- Document customer issues, troubleshooting activities, root causes, and resolutions in accordance with quality and regulatory requirements.
- Escalate complex technical issues to engineering, Research & Development, or other specialized support teams when appropriate.
- Support customer requests including parts replacement coordination, case creation, and service activities through established support channels.
- Utilize remote access tools to configure, maintain, and troubleshoot customer systems and environments.
- Participate in a rotating support schedule, including evenings and weekends as required to maintain 24/7 customer coverage.
- Identify recurring issues and contribute to process, product, and support workflow improvements.
What You'll Bring
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 1-3 years of experience in remote technical support, help desk, infrastructure support, or a similar technical troubleshooting environment.
- Experience troubleshooting networking technologies including routers, switches, wireless networks, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Experience supporting Microsoft technologies such as Windows Server, Active Directory, Remote Desktop, and server administration.
- Experience installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting IT infrastructure and endpoint devices.
- Knowledge of system maintenance, hardware support, cabling, and infrastructure deployments.
- Experience using technical documentation, ticketing systems, and remote support tools.
We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $68,000 to $93,500. The above range represents the expected salary range for this position. The actual salary rate may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location.
