OverviewThe Tech Services Director is the single-point owner for safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of all plant and warehouse facilities. This role leads the full technical agenda for the site-including manufacturing line performance, reliability systems, utilities (including water systems), controls, and total technical capability building. The position also oversees repair and maintenance cost efficiency, continuous improvement, service, quality, and safety across the entire location.
ResponsibilitiesMaintenance & Reliability Leadership:
- Own the plant's total maintenance strategy and execution, including preventive, predictive, condition-based, and corrective maintenance for all plant, warehouse, and utility assets
- Lead the plant's reliability strategy and asset health across manufacturing lines, utilities, and infrastructure
- Oversee preventive and predictive maintenance programs, down-day planning, overhauls, rebuilds, and use of diagnostic tools (vibration analysis, oil analysis, etc.)
- Drive failure analysis, defect elimination, and long-term reliability improvement plans
- Optimize cost through reliability standardization, energy efficiency, and waste reduction
Facilities, Utilities & Infrastructure Ownership:
- Own end-to-end plant and warehouse infrastructure, including buildings, utilities, grounds, racking, docks, and fixed manufacturing assets
- Maintain direct accountability for all utility systems: water, wastewater, steam, compressed air, refrigeration, boilers, and electrical systems
- Ensure technical availability, mechanical efficiency, and asset readiness for all manufacturing lines
Compliance, Safety & Standards:
- Ensure full compliance with Environmental Health & Safety, Food Safety, and regulatory requirements
- Govern maintenance activities to meet lockout/tagout and all relevant safety standards
- Utilize 5S and visual factory concepts to improve asset utilization and plant performance
Systems, Processes & Work Management:
- Govern standard maintenance systems, work management processes, CMMS usage, and parts purchasing/inventory processes
- Partner with OEMs to ensure equipment lifecycle compliance and reliability
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to execute reliability activities and optimize asset management
Cross-Functional Partnership:
- Provide technical leadership on day-to-day operational issues involving reliability, maintenance, facilities, and process improvement
- Collaborate closely with operations peers to deliver performance targets, including throughput, changeover performance, and line uptime
- Support team and line ownership models in partnership with Operations Managers and line leads
People Leadership & Capability Building:
- Develop maintenance teams to address daily operational issues and achieve short- and long-term goals
- Build technical capability through hiring, training, coaching, and effective communication
- Lead change initiatives while minimizing people impact
- Motivate team members and maintain strong employee relations
- Administer policies and procedures consistently
Compensation & Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $132,200 - $262,400.

- Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 25% of annual salary paid out annually and an additional target payout of 10% of annual salary is paid out over 3 years following the end of the performance period.

Qualifications- Bachelor's degree required
- Lean Six Sigma experience preferred, demonstrated through completion of a major improvement project
- 15+ years of operations maintenance experience; 5+ years of supervisory experience preferred
- Mechanical equipment maintenance experience required
- Understanding of PLC programming preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Demonstrated success in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment
- Must have indefinite right to work in the United States
