Full Job Description
As a Tech Risk & Controls Vice President in Cybersecurity and Technology Controls, you will support the end-to-end management, ideation, and strategy delivery of executive content for the firm's most senior governance committees. You will play a significant role in storyboarding content and transforming ideas and concepts into clear, concise presentations for senior-level audiences, while also ensuring timely delivery through planning, logistics, and tools used to manage a forward calendar of deliverables. This role operates with broad exposure across Cyber areas, Lines of Business, Corporate Functions, and senior audiences, and is positioned to influence how technology risk is communicated, governed, and actioned. Job responsibilities • Executive governance partnership: Serve as a point of contact for Governance and Secretary teams supporting Operating Committee and Board Committees. • Strategic executive content planning: Assist in strategic planning for executive content and ensure alignment with Cybersecurity & Technology Controls and Global Technology strategic priorities and organizational objectives. • Uses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate synthesis of risk/control evidence and draft executive-ready reporting, validating outputs and handling data according to sensitivity and security requirements • Board-level narrative development: Partner with senior stakeholders to shape storylines that connect technology risk topics to business impact, decisions required, and outcomes (e.g., risk posture, control effectiveness, remediation progress, and forward-looking themes). • Storyboard-to-deck transformation: Work with the team's Executive Director in storyboarding content and translating complex ideas into clear, concise presentations for the most senior audiences. • Governance calendar & delivery management: Maintain a forward-looking calendar of governance forums and potential topics; oversee meeting logistics and material distribution; drive deadlines and stakeholder coordination. • Risk & control insight: Assess and monitor technology risks, ensuring compliance with firm standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices. • Risk advisory & mitigation support: Analyze complex situations, provide advice on risk management strategies, and support implementation of risk mitigation measures. • Promotes reuse-first, AI-assisted approaches to streamline recurring control testing and issue/action-plan management routines, ensuring human review and alignment to auditability and regulatory expectations Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills • Formal training or certification on security concepts and 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technology, risk management, information security, legal or a related field, with a focus on risk identification, assessment, and mitigation. • Demonstrated experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to support technology risk and controls workflows with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity. • Ability to review and validate AI-assisted risk summaries and recommendations before use, escalating when uncertain and ensuring outcomes align to security, auditability, and regulatory expectations. • Experience with directly managing a team or directly influencing other teams to execute objectives • Experience in risk identification, assessment, and control evaluation, with a strong understanding of industry standards • Demonstrated ability to analyze complex issues, develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders • Proven ability to develop and maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships • Excellent organizational and project management skills, ability to manage multiple competing priorities and work under tight deadlines • High degree of initiative, self-direction, and ability to work well under pressure; intellectual curiosity and ability to learn quickly.
