Job Title: CNC Machine Tools Reliability Engineer
Opportunity Overview:

Our client is a leading manufacturing company committed to delivering high-quality products and services to our military and commercial aircraft engine customers. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Reliability Engineer to join our team and ensure the optimal performance and uptime of our CNC machine tools. As a Reliability Engineer, you will play a crucial role in Digital Manufacturing support maximizing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and achieving Total Predictive Maintenance (TPM) objectives to enhance the efficiency and reliability of our client's production processes.

Job Description:
Responsibilities:

1. Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) Improvement:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, maintenance, and engineering, to identify OEE improvement opportunities.
- Analyze historical data and performance metrics to identify root causes of machine downtime, inefficiencies, and production bottlenecks.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize OEE, aiming to increase machine availability, performance, and quality.
2. Machine Uptime Enhancement:
- Establish and manage a comprehensive machine uptime monitoring system to track and report downtime events accurately.
- Lead efforts to reduce unplanned downtime by implementing preventive and predictive maintenance techniques.
- Conduct thorough root cause analyses for critical machine failures and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.
3. Total Predictive Maintenance (TPM) Implementation:
- Design and execute a TPM program to monitor and maintain CNC machine tools regularly.
- Develop preventive maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure the reliability and longevity of machine components.
- Integrate predictive maintenance technologies, such as vibration analysis and thermal imaging, to proactively identify and address potential issues.
4. Reliability Testing and Analysis:
- Develop and oversee reliability testing protocols to assess the performance and endurance of new CNC machine tools.
- Analyze test results and provide recommendations to engineering and procurement teams for selecting reliable and robust equipment.
5. Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives to optimize CNC machine tools' performance and reliability.
- Drive reliability-focused projects to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness for the manufacturing processes.
6. Training and Development:
- Provide training and guidance to maintenance and production teams on best practices for maximizing CNC machine tools' reliability.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Reliability Engineer or similar role in a manufacturing environment, specifically with CNC machine tools.
- In-depth knowledge of Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) principles and practices.
- Familiarity with Total Predictive Maintenance (TPM) concepts and implementation.
