Location : Atlanta, GA buy rate :120000k (Fulltime only ) Job Details Develop and maintain expertise in technical domain of PTC system. Administer and maintain PTC system using railroad industry products and services. Monitor PTC applications, including performance metrics for numerous production systems. Identify root cause for all technical issues of PTC system and recommending solutions. Provide support for lab and field testing of PTC back office and integrated applications. Participate in periodic meetings with vendor, defect coordination, and plan strategies for product upgrades. Maintain support processes, identify issues, and resolve problems relating to applications and infrastructure. Monitor/ensure services and components continue to meet all of the agreed upon performance targets and service levels. Document design plan, implementation guide, design requirements, configuration management guide, design architecture and engineering development guide, and user guide to administer all the PTC back office systems. Provide application support and maintenance for PTC back office systems. Triage and analyze production issues regarding PTC operations. Investigate and resolve issues to resume train operations. Configure and support vendor products like back office segments, application gateways in support of PTC operation. Skill Set This experience must include at least seven (7) years of experience: In application programming using Java; In application development using Integration; and In transactional processing using messaging techniques. Demonstrated ability to: Use web and backend development frameworks; Utilize relational database experiences including both Oracle and SQL; and Oversee and lead a team with customer support focus. Demonstrated knowledge of: Performance metrics, troubleshooting, and vendor management; Computer systems integration; XML, Web Services, JavaScript, Messaging, WebSphere, and HTML; and Transportation industry and logistics industry experience.
