Full Job Description

As a Salesforce Tech Lead, you support IT efficiency within the Business Financing Department, particularly as part of the DFEM program. You design, develop and enhance solutions on Salesforce and nCino, ensuring their quality, performance, security and robustness. You play a key role in large-scale initiatives by aligning business needs with technology solutions. As a go-to technical reference, you design scalable, optimized architectures while taking a strategic view and helping steer direction. You stand out for your sense of ownership, attention to detail and disciplined approach. Through engaging leadership, you mentor your team, communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders and put together clean, well-structured documentation. You are comfortable working in environments that use tools such as Jira. More specifically, you will be required to:

  • Advise teams on using technology to develop business solutions and make improvements to speed up delivery.
  • Develop highly complex execution strategies, and analyze, design and document business products and solutions.
  • Analyze and develop software products (design, code, automate and run tests), while applying development, data and security best practices.
  • Establish and draft development methods and design patterns, procedures and IT choices. Help develop documentation and prepare and deliver training for peers and consumers.
  • Cocreate with business partners and architects to get a complete understanding of business intentions and objectives and standardize solutions accordingly.
  • Identify system optimization opportunities and underlying impacts of changes. Analyze, diagnose, follow up on and resolve very highly complex operational and conceptual problems during major incidents.
  • Represent teams in dealings with senior management and external partners and organizations.

What you bring to the table

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of eight years of relevant experience
  • Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of French is required
  • Advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
  • Advanced proficiency in Salesforce, Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and declarative tools (Flow, Approval Processes)
  • Proficiency in REST/SOAP APIs, OAuth and integration mechanisms
  • Knowledge of Jira or similar tools
  • Expertise in designing scalable Salesforce architectures that respect governor limits
  • Expertise in Salesforce DX (SFDX), Git, CI/CD Pipelines and Environment Management (sandboxes, releases, deployments)
  • Expertise with the nCino platform
