Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent echocardiography experience preferred
• Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA required
• Proficiency in transthoracic, stress, and possibly transesophageal echocardiograms
• Understanding of cardiac anatomy and hemodynamics
• Ability to work with patients of all ages

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive cardiac ultrasounds to assess heart structure and function
• Collaborate with cardiologists to provide high-quality images for diagnoses
• Evaluate preliminary findings to assist in treatment planning
• Maintain patient comfort and safety during procedures
• Document test results and patient interactions accurately
