Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a mental health setting is required.
• Valid RN license in Massachusetts is mandatory.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Strong clinical and crisis intervention skills necessary.
• Competency in formal and informal assessment tools is expected.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team is crucial.
• Valid US driver's license and insured vehicle are required for transporting clients.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluate physical health needs.
• Provide holistic nursing services within an interdisciplinary team.
• Manage and administer medications effectively to clients.
• Offer case management for assigned individuals, coordinating treatment team activities.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of psychiatric history and risk behaviors.
• Facilitate ongoing assessment and problem-solving for daily living skills support.
• Make appropriate referrals to community physicians as needed.
