Job Specifics:

Location: 744 S. Webster Ave., Green Bay, WI 54301
FTE Status: Exempt, Full-time, 1.0 FTE (40 hours/week)
Work Schedule: Days, Monday-Friday (8:00 am - 4:30 pm) with flexibility.

Job Description:

The Team Leader of Nursing Clinical Operations will provide dedicated leadership for daily hospital operations, patient flow, and capacity management. This role will improve operational efficiency, strengthen accountability for throughput outcomes, and allow the Director of Nursing Clinical Operations to focus on strategic priorities, organizational initiatives, quality outcomes, and long-term operational performance. The Team Leader will serve as the operational lead for daily patient flow and hospital throughput activities while partnering closely with nursing, physician, and operational leaders to drive performance and address barriers impacting capacity and patient care delivery.

Essential Job Duties:

Including, but not limited to:

  • Standardizes best practices with operational teams throughout nursing areas
  • Analyzes issues, trends, and supporting data to determine identified needs in a manner that facilitates purpose statements, educational objectives, program content, and evaluation criteria
  • Educates and reviews staff productivity and performance metrics
  • Evaluates progress toward attainment of desired organizational outcomes
  • Enhances the quality and effectiveness of nursing professional development through certifications, advanced degrees, and membership in professional organizations
  • Ensures compliance with the DNV standards across the system at the nursing level
  • Works with professional development coordinators, educators, and chairs to ensure adequate training and functionality


Qualifications:

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) or related healthcare field required
  • Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN), Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field required within 5 years of acceptance

Certification/Registration/Licensure

  • Valid WI RN License required
  • Certification in Nursing Leadership or Healthcare Quality preferred

Experience

  • 3-5 years of progressive healthcare leadership experience required
  • Experience in hospital operations, patient flow, throughput or capacity management preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead interdisciplinary teams and operational initiatives
