About the Role

The Team Leader - Field Services is responsible for leading a team of operators and successfully providing a fast-paced service delivery of Uncrewed Vehicle Systems (UVS), including aerial, surface, ground, and control systems, in the delivery of training to multiple defense forces, in various locations worldwide.

What You'll Do

  • Working in accordance with departmental procedures
  • Lead and manage the deployed field services team
  • Communicate the requirements of the customers to the management team and the subordinates
  • Develop and expand the relationship with the customer
  • Prepare reports for customer operations
  • Negotiate resources required and develop solutions to campaign problems
  • Controlling Uncrewed Vehicle Systems in accordance with operator manuals and service bulletins, range standard operating practices and flight test schedules
  • The assembly and test of Uncrewed Vehicle Systems, and first line repair, including replacement of line replaceable units, in accordance with the company's technical documentation
  • Fault diagnosis
  • The preparation and removal of payloads
  • Handling and preparing pyrotechnics
  • Knowledge and operation of the various launcher systems
  • Complete post flight checks and replenish or repair as necessary
  • Provide training of the systems to others
  • To take part in development of ongoing and future projects of QTS
  • Willingness to work flexible hours and shifting schedules
  • Requirement to travel to various worldwide locations. Travel may be for long durations, on short notice, and potential for various living conditions such as Military Housing or deployments on-board ships.

  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada and meet the eligibility requirements to obtain and maintain the Government of Canada security clearance required for the position
  • Must be eligible for and maintain a clear background check, including criminal record screening, as required for security clearance
  • Able to obtain a NATO Secret Clearance
