Job Purpose Overview

The Team Lead for Operations is responsible for leading a team of Operations Managers and Reporting Analysts in support of the field sales and customer marketing organization. The role leads all seasonal and non-seasonal reporting for fixed quantity, innovation, and display.

The Team Lead for Operations is accountable for the delivery of optimization, consistency, and centralization of internal reporting both into the business and to the sales organization.The role provides critical Operations linkage between Field Sales, Internal Sales and cross-functional teams, delivering critical and consistent visibility to all of the key business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Train, Support and Develop a highly engaged team of Operations Managers and Reporting Analysts
  • Partner and Collaborate with the Portfolio Director and E2E counterparts to establish EMR (Execution Management Review) agenda and reporting
  • Provide tools/reporting to support the sales team; Inclusive of checkpoints, order status, forecast accuracy for fixed quantity, innovation, and display
  • Collaborate with Channel VP's and Directors to drive forecast accuracy, NQC reduction and order gap to quota
  • Establish and continuously optimize Ways of Working amongst team and with cross-functional partners
  • Core Annual Planning Team Member for the seasonal
  • Ensure self and team is knowledgeable in systems and tools to understand field sales, customer marketing and key cross functional stakeholder's needs as well as impact to reporting and key processes
  • Continuous optimization of all reports and tools provided by and supported by the Operations Manager and Analysts, through standardization of data, resulting in one source of truth
  • Creates dashboards that drive accountability and action
  • Provides a team dynamic of development, documentation, training, and communication to the sales team and internal stakeholders


Job Specifications/Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred
  • 7+ years CPG experience inclusive of customer facing sales, sales analytics, marketing, supply, and/or finance revenue management
  • Success in developing strong cross-functional relationships
  • Demonstrated Analytical acumen
  • Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage major projects
  • Ability to manage own work and lead direct reports with limited direction


The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.

The pay range shown is applicable to all US locations listed within the job posting:USD 153,600.00 - USD 211,200.00
