Full Job Description
This Lead role will be responsible for leading and executing responsibiliities within the Relocation Project Management workstream. The lead will be responsible for overseeing and developing a team of relocation project managers and coordinators throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires strong leadership capabilities to ensure team performance, professional development, and successful project delivery. This role will lead, mentor, and manage a team of relocation project managers, located across the client portfolio, providing clear direction and setting performance expectations aligned with project objectives and account requirements.

Move / Furniture Management
  • Manage all project activities on account and/or projects assigned
  • Manage personnel; delegate responsibilities and oversee work on multiple projects of varying complexity
  • Oversee the planning, scheduling and implementation of project scope
  • Proactively manage project-related issues on account or assignment
  • Ensure JLL best practices and policies are being followed
  • Develop a quality plan for the account and individual project. Provide leadership and guidance in the area of service delivery quality and monitor quality results
  • Ensure operations manual is in place and updated on account
  • Facilitate a project kick-off meeting with internal staff and key stakeholders to ensure responsibilities are communicated and understood by all concerned
  • Participate in select planning meetings, project meetings and other account specific requirements
  • Review project goals and objectives, making changes where necessary to ensure desired project results
  • Review the developed and implemented move/occupancy project plan and budget through collaboration with the client, facility manager, project manager and Construction manager
  • Review project status and tracking reports, process purchase orders and invoices for due diligence and financials
  • Oversee the project scope and budget, proactively address out-of-scope items with the client and if needed, initiate change orders
  • Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost effective manner
  • Oversee the preparation of various RFP's needed for vendor and contractor services for the complete project
  • Ensure the incorporation of "best practices" into projects
  • Ensure that meetings to review project schedules with all participating vendors and key stakeholders are initiated and held regularly
  • Identify and address areas of concern regarding potential liabilities and risk
  • Ensure project processes are managed in accordance with the client's and JLL policies and procedures
  • Oversee the procurement of all necessary vendors and outside labor
  • Oversee the management of supporting suppliers (technology, telephony, furniture, etc.)
  • Evaluate vendors to ensure compliance with the standards of performance
  • Ensure performance of data input into the CAFM system to maintain occupancy information
  • Develop and deliver required project specific reporting
  • Comply with all JLL policies and procedures, including but not limited to time & expenses, ethics and business practice.
  • Oversee the work orders and small project management, including but not limited to furniture reconfigurations and space enhancements
  • Ensure the coordination with various service providers to determine appropriate date(s) for implementation and communicate those dates
  • If necessary, determine the pricing for any non-baseline work requested (i.e. construction-related needs, furniture reconfigurations, people relocations that exceed baseline parameters, etc.)

People Management
  • Be directly responsible for attracting, retaining, developing and managing a team of people who are involved with a specific set of client functions, business unit or projects
  • Recommend and/or take actions regarding team talent (with involvement of HR and Sr. Mgmt)
  • Manage directly RPM staff, and delegate responsibilities and oversee work on multiple projects of varying complexity to Sr. Managers as applicable
  • Sponsor an internal activity or group focused on improvement of job knowledge, skills, and abilities
  • Facilitate/sponsor an idea stream by team
  • Conduct bi-annual reviews

Growth of Company
  • Participate in industry, networking, and educational events; with confidence, represent JLL's core business
  • Partner with business line leaders on growth of account/or market budgets
  • Implement Product Line strategy and initiatives
  • Act as sales Subject Matter Expert as needed to support growth.
  • Ensure that all projects comply with Case Study, Cost Savings, BI Data requirements and Value Add's.
  • Collaborate with Marketing/Operations to continually enhance sales toolkit
  • Optimization of Relocation Project Management processes and people to achieve reductions in cost and increase productivity
  • Support the development of metrics, incorporate into product guidelines
  • Support the Firms marketing efforts with suitable content from existing projects
  • Understands, assesses and mitigates risks and outcomes affecting the SL

Miscellaneous
  • Any and all other duties and tasks assigned.
  • Comply with all JLL policies and procedures, including but not limited to time & expenses, ethics and business practice.

Skills and Other abilities
  • Proficient in FM: Systems move management module and/or facilities management system
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong Microsoft Projects skills
  • Ability to utilize the Microsoft Office suite of technologies
  • Proficient in Corrigo
  • Has successfully managed relocations involving over 200 employees
