We are currently recruiting for a full-time, remote Procurement Team Lead to support our Red Chris Mine operation, with occasional site visits as required.
Your Impact
You will lead a high-performing procurement team that keeps critical site operations running smoothly. You'll drive timely purchasing, expedite essential materials and services, and build strong partnerships with stakeholders and suppliers to support safe, efficient, and cost-effective mining operations.
As Part of Our Team You Will
• Lead and support a team of procurement professionals.
• Oversee purchase orders and expedite critical goods and services.
• Coordinate with logistics and stakeholders to ensure on-time delivery of materials.
• Monitor procurement performance, KPIs, and opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Mentor team members on commercial, procurement, and supply chain best practices.
• Build strong relationships with operations, maintenance, warehouse, and supplier partners.
• Support cost management initiatives and operational business objectives.
Prerequisites for Your Success in This Role
• Experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain, or commercial management within mining, energy, industrial, or related sectors.
• Demonstrated leadership experience and the ability to develop high-performing teams.
• Strong knowledge of supplier management, purchasing processes, negotiations, and contract administration.
• Experience using SAP, Ariba, or similar ERP and eProcurement systems.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of site-based operational procurement and supply chain logistics.
Your Work Environment
• Remote role supporting Red Chris Mine operations.
• Collaborative, fast-paced environment focused on operational excellence and service delivery.
• Frequent engagement with site teams, suppliers, logistics providers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Occasional travel to site to build relationships and support business objectives.
The expected salary range for this role is CA$105,800 - 141,100 . This range is tied to the British Columbia market for jobs performed in British Columbia. The salary offer to the successful candidate will be based on job-related education, training, and/or experience.
