Full Job Description
Medcan is seeking a Team Lead, Live Well Client Care to lead and optimize the delivery of Medcan's many Live Well Programs. This role oversees nursing and non-nursing teams within the Client Care Centre, ensuring exceptional client care, operational efficiency, and compliance with regulatory standards.

This is a Remote opportunity scheduled Monday - Friday during regular clinic hours of 8am - 4:30pm. There may be occasional requests for in-office presence.

Our downtown Toronto clinic is conveniently located at 150 York St., which is nearby St. Andrew station or a 10-minute walk from Union Station!

What You'll Do:
  • Lead day-to-day operations and team performance.
  • Monitor workload and performance volumes to identify gaps and optimize operations
  • Prioritize decisions based on client care needs and safety, ensuring workflows aligns with policies, procedures and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition for recruitment, onboarding, and orientation of new staff.
  • Conduct performance reviews, coach team members and manage performance issues in collaboration with Human Resources.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
  • Handle client escalations and support staff in challenging situations.
  • Partner with clinical leaders and product teams to launch new programs.
  • Promote evidence-based practice and maintain nursing competency standards.
  • Address safety concerns promptly and escalate serious incidents.


What You'll Need
  • Degree in Healthcare and/or equivalent experience in the industry (Masters in Health Administration or BScN considered an asset)
  • 2-5 years leadership/management in healthcare or relevant industry
  • Strong communication, organizational, multi-tasking and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office.
  • Experience with Accuro EMR and/or SalesForce an asset
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.


Position Pay Range
$73,699.00 - $101,335.00 CAD annually

Pay will be determined based on an analysis of the selected candidate's experience and qualifications within the role's compensation grade. Medcan's compensation ranges are determined by a combination of required qualifications and skills, market value, and internal equity. The above range pertains solely to the base compensation and is not inclusive of additional compensation details such as perks, benefits, and potential bonuses or incentives.
