Guide a team of GISprofessionals in delivering high-quality spatial data and analytical servicesfor our Ontario Woodlands and play a key role in supporting forest planning andoperations.

What You'll Do
  • Supervise, mentor and coordinate a GIS team, managing daily tasks, priorities and staff development while promoting best practices across forestry and operations teams.
  • Lead spatial modelling and GIS data management, ensuring data integrity, quality control and compliance with government technical standards.
  • Integrate GPS, drone, and LiDAR data into planning workflows, support forest management plans and field operations through mapping, inventory, and custom GIS tools.
  • Maintain and enhance GIS platforms, automate workflows, create training materials and drive innovation through new geospatial technologies.
