Our internal team is seeking a highly motivated Team Lead with a Technical/Data background to lead strategic initiatives within Enterprise wide data solution delivery.

This role will be responsible for driving delivery, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful execution of complex data modernization initiatives. The successful candidate will serve as the central point of coordination across business, technology, data engineering, architecture, analytics, and leadership teams.

The ideal candidate is a tech-centric, Team Lead with experience ensuring project delivery. With proven experience leading enterprise data programs and managing delivery within complex technical environments. This individual must be a strong communicator, a proactive problem solver, and a delivery-focused leader capable of driving accountability and achieving results.

What will your typical day look like?

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of Data-centric initiatives and data transformation programs.
• Monitor project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, budgets, risks, issues, and resource coordination.
• Provide guidance and recommendation on technology decisions and data-driven design patterns.
• Adopt AI-assisted delivery methodologies.
• Drive execution across multiple workstreams involving data engineering, architecture, analytics, reporting, governance, and business stakeholders.
• Ensure project teams remain accountable for deliverables, timelines, and commitments.
• Work the team to ensure the operational health of our Production systems and ensure that incidents are solved in a timely fashion.
• Identify, escalate, and proactively resolve risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Partner with executive stakeholders and provide clear, concise updates on delivery health, progress, and key decisions.
• Participate in project governance forums, steering committee meetings, and stakeholder communications.
• Partner with data engineering and architecture teams to understand technical requirements and delivery impacts.
• Mentoring the delivery team to unlock people's strengths and guide their development.
• Support Agile delivery practices and ensure alignment between business objectives and technical execution.
• Drive successful implementation and adoption of modern data and analytics capabilities.

About the team

Our team is responsible for an intricate data ecosystem including an Azure based Data Lake, a HANA based datawarehouse, an Informatica based Data Catalog, along with a Master Data Management and Reference Data Management system. These solutions support our internal team within Deloitte and are foundational to the organization's data strategy. They enable improved data management, accelerated onboarding of new data sources, enhanced analytics capabilities, and support for emerging AI-driven solutions.

Projects associated with these products will be delivered using AI assisted methodology and agentic frameworks and thus an ability to embrace new delivery patterns is key.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of Team Lead experience leading medium-to-large enterprise technology initiatives.
• Proven experience managing enterprise data, analytics, BI, reporting, or data transformation programs.
• Experience with AI-assisted delivery and familiarity with topics like Github Copilot and Agentic frameworks is an asset to this role.
• Strong understanding of data ecosystems, data engineering concepts, and analytics delivery.
• Experience overseeing complex projects involving multiple technical and business stakeholder groups.
• Ability to drive execution, influence stakeholders, and hold teams accountable for delivery commitments.
• Demonstrated success driving projects within Agile, Hybrid, or Waterfall environments.
• Excellent leadership, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working closely with technical teams including:
• Data Engineering
• Data Architecture
• Business Intelligence
• Analytics
• Reporting Teams
• Strong risk management, dependency management, and issue resolution capabilities.
  
  Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with large data platforms such as Data Lakes, Data Warehouses or Lakehouses. Project experience working on large-scale data migrations, platform changes or modernizations.
• Experience managing programs involving Databricks and modern cloud data platforms.
• Experience working with Azure Data Services, Databricks, Snowflake, AWS, or similar technologies.
• Experience supporting AI, GenAI, Machine Learning, or Agentic AI initiatives.
• Experience within large enterprise, consulting, financial services, insurance, telecommunications, or public sector environments.
• PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, SAFe, or equivalent certification is considered an asset.

Total Rewards

The salary range for this position is $104,000 - $215,000, and individuals may be eligible to participate in our bonus program.
