Full Job Description
We are looking for a Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our growing team in Canada.

Location: Remote - Canada

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodePipeline, GitLab, and ArgoCD.
  • Automate application deployment workflows across Development and QA environments.
  • Deploy, support, and manage cloud-based applications and services while ensuring scalability, availability, reliability, and high performance.
  • Create and maintain Dockerfiles to support consistent and repeatable container builds across environments.
  • Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation, monitoring, and operational tasks in Linux environments.
  • Design, provision, and manage infrastructure using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and application-related issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deployment strategies, operational efficiency, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Lead DevOps initiatives and mentor team members while promoting best practices and continuous improvement.


Required Skills & Qualifications (Must Have)
  • Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, ArgoCD, AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeBuild, or similar technologies.
  • Strong command-line and scripting expertise with Linux OS and Shell scripting (4/5 proficiency or higher preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation and provisioning.
  • Strong experience working with AWS Cloud Services.
  • Expertise in Containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience in technical leadership or team lead role is highly preferred.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud-native environments and DevOps best practices.
  • Understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
