We are looking for a
Cloud DevOps Engineer to join our growing team in Canada.
Location: Remote - Canada
Key Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodePipeline, GitLab, and ArgoCD.
- Automate application deployment workflows across Development and QA environments.
- Deploy, support, and manage cloud-based applications and services while ensuring scalability, availability, reliability, and high performance.
- Create and maintain Dockerfiles to support consistent and repeatable container builds across environments.
- Build, deploy, and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Develop and maintain shell scripts for automation, monitoring, and operational tasks in Linux environments.
- Design, provision, and manage infrastructure using Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure, deployment, and application-related issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deployment strategies, operational efficiency, and cloud infrastructure.
- Lead DevOps initiatives and mentor team members while promoting best practices and continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications (Must Have)- Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, ArgoCD, AWS CodePipeline, AWS CodeBuild, or similar technologies.
- Strong command-line and scripting expertise with Linux OS and Shell scripting (4/5 proficiency or higher preferred).
- Hands-on experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation and provisioning.
- Strong experience working with AWS Cloud Services.
- Expertise in Containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience in technical leadership or team lead role is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with cloud-native environments and DevOps best practices.
- Understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments

- A Competitive pay, the salary range for the role is $110,000-$120,000 Cad per annum.
